Vice President:


The duties of the Chapter Vice President are defined in Article VI, Section 6.02 of the By-Laws of The Blue Knights' International Motorcycle Club, Inc.

Only Regular members in-good-standing, may hold the position of Chapter Vice President.  The Chapter Vice President is the Assistant General Executive Head of the Chapter. At the request of the President or in the event of his absence or disability, the Vice President may perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President; and to the extent authorized by the executive board, the Vice President shall have such other powers as the Executive board may determine.  He may be a co-signer with the Treasurer and President on all chapter accounts and other legal documents given on behalf of the chapter.

In addition to those duties and responsibilities outlined in the International By-Laws, our Chapter Vice President has the following additional duties and responsibilities based upon tradition and past practices: The Chapter Vice President must ensure aggressive efforts in the areas of RETENTION AND RECRUITING of Chapter members is completed in a diligent manner throughout the year. He is responsible for coordinating the annual chapter picnic and Christmas party.

These responsibilities may be delegated to other Executive board members or appointed members-in-good-standing, but the general responsibility for the completion of these tasks falls upon the Chapter Vice President.
