CA VII’s Poker Rally for 2008

Starting Location: Your house

Finish: Bishop, California, just in time for Joe Fazio’s Eastern Sierra Weekend

Date: You must check-in with the ride director at the host hotel no later than 1900 (7 PM) on Friday, September 5^th, 2008

Basic idea: Just like 2007 this ride is designed to give you something fun to do on your way to the Bishop weekend. Ride the rally alone, with your SO, or with a group of your riding buddies. There will be bonus locations along highways 120, 108, 395, and new for 2008, bonuses on state route 4 as well. This allows you to decide your own route, and set your own pace. The bonus list will be posted on the Internet a few days prior to the event.

For each correctly obtained bonus (usually answering a question) you may draw a playing card towards your poker hand when you arrive in Bishop. This year some bonuses will count as double!

Minimum number to play is five, since five is the minimum number of cards to fill a poker hand. The maximum number is all the bonuses. Last year Paul Paniagua obtained twenty-four out of twenty-six bonuses to draw an 8-high straight flush. Who’s up to out draw Paul in ’08?
