9th ANNUAL HAPPY COW RIDE

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER - CHANGED TO MARCH 30

Greetings, all:

Yes, it's time again for our annual trek along the rolling hills and valleys of the beautiful West Marin and Sonoma country side!

I am selecting two dates for the ride this year. One is a back-up in case of rain.

Once again, the ride will take place on a SUNDAY.

The first choice is SUNDAY, February 24th, 2008 (CANCELLED)

Back-up date is SUNDAY, March 30th, 2008.

If rain is predicted on BOTH days, or if I determine that the roads are otherwise unsafe due to weather/maintenance, the ride will be postponed until further notice.

On either date, we will meet at the usual location under the flag at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in North San Rafael. The hotel has a nice coffee shop open to the public and offers a full breakfast for those wishing to warm up pre-ride. Please be gassed up and ready to roll at 10:30AM sharp. We will take the usual "farm to market" roads out to west Marin and Sonoma counties, rolling through the scenic beauty and bucolic farms and ranches of the area.

As usual, the destination will be the Union Hotel http://www.unionhotel.com/

Please feel free to invite non-member guests, and if you know any members from other chapters, please invite them along, as well!

Depending upon the number of bikes this year, I may request that a rider who is familiar with the route lead a second group out, spaced 10 minutes from the first group.
