Please join us
for another year of Blue Knight rides, relaxation and
camaraderie, kicking off 2008 at the world famous Alice's
Restaurant. One of the Bay Area's premier motorcycle hangouts, a
great place to see and be seen. It is located right at the
intersection of CA routes 35 and 84 in Sky Londa. It happens
that route 35, aka Skyline Drive, is one fine motorcycling road.
And this is the gateway to some superb riding on the Peninsula
backroads: King's Mountain, Tunitas Creek, Pescadero Road, Stage
Road, Gazos Creek, Cloverdale, Alpine, Page Mill, the list seems
endless. If you plan to participate in the groups rides, please
ensure you arrive prior to the departure time.. full tank of
gas, bridge toll money in hand (if applicable), all that good
stuff.
This is a "Destination
Ride" which means, that the ride is from your front door,
wherever you live or wish to leave from, to Alice's Restaurant,
arriving at approximately 10 am. Now this "Destination Ride"
thing has some definite advantages. You get to ride at your own
pace, so if you're a "speedy" rider, you can leave later. If
you're a "leisurely" rider, then you can leave earlier. If you
wish to join someone else for a ride to Alice's, you can make
arrangements to leave from wherever you wish, leaving at
whatever time you think is appropriate to arrive at Alice's
Restaurant at 10 for brunch with the group. Similarly, you can
leave in groups or feel free to ride solo. It is a no-stress
meet with good folks, good food and good riding, no matter where
you are coming from.
Thanks to Pete we
have reserved the "secret" backroom once again! We have reserved
the room from 10:00am.
If anyone wants to arrange any meeting places on their own
please do so. Feel free to use the Yahoo! Group to get out the
word!
Please be sure to wear your chapter colors whether you drive or
ride! All Blue Knights and their guests are welcome!
This has always had a great turnout. Last New
Years, the room was so packed we almost out of room.
Hopefully the weather will be good. I know if Joe Fazio puts in
a good word for us it will be. He just has that kind of knack!
As we all know, the food is great and the camaraderie is even
better.Click

Fellow
North Bay Knights:

Home Depot)
-- at about 0800 for coffee and verbal flatulence. Split about
0830ish. The route down to Alice's will roughly be I 80, I 280,
